Questions, answered
How long is the free trial?
30 days, with every feature unlocked and no card required to start. If you don't upload a licence before it ends, the account moves to a read-only trial-ended state until you do — nothing is deleted.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Nothing happens automatically. Your admin can export or permanently erase any individual's data at any time from the Admin area, and a full tenant reset is available as a self-service option if you ever want to wipe everything and start over.
Is our data shared with other companies?
No. Every SkillsLedger customer gets their own private database and application instance — nothing is pooled or shared across tenants.
Do you support single sign-on?
Yes. Connect Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) from Admin settings at any time, or use secure local accounts with optional two-factor authentication.
Which AI does SkillsLedger use, and can we use our own?
SkillsLedger AI runs on Anthropic's Claude, with a monthly allowance for each workspace. An admin can switch any AI feature off on Admin > AI, or connect your organisation's own Claude, ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Microsoft Azure OpenAI key, the route to the models behind Microsoft Copilot. With your own key there's no allowance, and requests are billed to your own account.
How does pricing work?
£10 per seat, per year, with every feature included — there's no separate pricing tier to upgrade into. Seat purchases are managed from your account after your trial.
